What is the Gen3 upgrade?

1. 1. Upgraded Nosepiece and Soft Internal Web  - Make this dust mask feel soft against the skin and enhance wearer comfort, great for when you’re wearing the mask for extended periods of time.

   2. New 3M™ Cool Flow™ Comfort Valve  - Offers greater breathing comfort. It opens 37% easier and offers 36%+ more airflow compared to it's predecessor the Aura™ 9300+. Delivering a more comfortable breathing experience and greater wearer comfort, making the 9300+Gen3 valved respirators ideal for long periods of wear, especially where conditions are hot, humid or physically demanding.

   3. Wide Braided Headbands - enhance durability without compromising comfort. The previous non latex rubber design tended to pull on your hair, as these ones are coated they slide over your head much easier.

   4. Innovative tabs on the upper and lower panels - Easier to put on, take off & re-position, along with the new ‘grip’ feature on the valved models, simplifies the positioning and adjustment on the face, reducing the time to don it and without putting fingers inside the respirator.

   5. Advanced Electret Media (AEM). Air now flows more freely. Gen3 Auras have an innovative filter and employ a distinctive production technique. Every every fibre within the 3M AEM structure possesses an exceptionally elevated electrostatic charge. The significant charge level of each AEM in the 3M filter allows it to effectively attract particles from a larger area, efficiently capturing and retaining them. This means that fewer filter fibres are needed to obtain the same level of protection. The high electrical charge of 3M AEM reduces the required amount of fibres for effective particle capture. As a result, 3M is able to create a highly efficient filter that has a more porous structure compared to traditional electret filters, allowing air to flow more freely.
