The SR 701 standard battery, part number R06-0708, fits the Sundström SR 700 fan unit only. It is not compatible with the SR 500 or SR 500 EX, which use physically different batteries (SR 501, SR 502 and the EX variants).

Sundström quotes more than 6 hours of operation at the standard 175 l/min flow rate under ideal conditions, and around 4 hours at the boosted 225 l/min setting. A full charge takes about 2 hours with the Sundström standard charger, which uses a three-stage automatic cycle.

The SR 701 standard battery is 2.25 Ah (30.4 Wh) and runs the SR 700 for over 6 hours at 175 l/min. The SR 702 heavy-duty battery, part number T06-0701, is 3.5 Ah and extends that to roughly 8 hours at 175 l/min or 5.5 hours at boosted flow. Both weigh 270 g.

Store it between -20 and +40 °C in below 90% relative humidity, and recharge it at least every 6 months. Stored correctly, the battery keeps for up to 5 years from its date of manufacture. Sundström also recommends recharging before the battery becomes fully discharged.
