These replacement filters are ideal for day-to-day situations where you want extra reassurance against urban pollution, dust, smoke, pollen and respiratory droplets. Airhead’s filtration is described as targeting particulate sizes down to PM0.3, including common pollution categories such as PM2.5 and PM10.
When to replace: As general guidance, Airhead suggests replacing filters after around 30 hours for high-exertion activities (e.g., cycling/running) or around 60 hours for lower-exertion use (walking/public transport). Replace sooner if airflow feels reduced or the filter becomes soiled.
