The BT-926 is a flame and heat resistant cover that slides over a 3M Versaflo BT-Series breathing tube. It is made from oxidised polyacrylonitrile fabric and is designed to protect the breathing tube from flying sparks and radiant heat in welding and hot-work environments, extending its service life. It is a tube cover only and does not provide additional respiratory protection beyond the breathing tube and powered air system in use.

The BT-926 is designed to fit 3M Versaflo BT-Series breathing tubes: BT-20S, BT-20L, BT-30 and BT-40. These tubes are used with the 3M Versaflo TR-300+, TR-600 and TR-800 powered air turbo units in combination with Versaflo M-Series headtops and S-Series hoods. Always check current 3M documentation to confirm that the BT-926 is suitable for your specific tube model.

The BT-926 is a durable, reusable cover. 3M states a shelf life of 60 months from the manufacture date. Inspect the cover regularly for signs of damage, wear or contamination and replace when necessary in accordance with current 3M maintenance and inspection instructions.
